Oh for a home far away from the strain of life
A house to call my own within the walls of my heart
Try as I may it finds me still, forcing itself against my will
Away… Away oh fiendish flame of passion
Oh for a home far away from the strain of life
A house to call my own within the walls of my heart
Try as I may it finds me still, forcing itself against my will
Away… Away oh fiendish flame of passion
A beating heart hastens as the meeting draws near, quick breaths spurt out in the darkness in anticipation of her. She comes into my world like the appearance of a unicorn from out of the clouds, with the sun rising behind her… Gracefully she makes her way across an arid land, with a small breeze blowing in her hair. A surreal sensation takes over me, and i find myself stuck, held in place by some unseen force; unable to move my legs, i try to reach out to her, and touch her, but i am helpless to satisfy my hunger for her.
Yet she keeps floating towards me until she reaches me, and snaps me out of my daze and so begins a story of love. I find myself dedicating my every cell to her pleasure, to her comfort and she receives it gracefully and smiles…. a smile that fuels my passion ever more…
Time is a subject that has been tackled from all possible different angles, from its existence to the lack thereof, from how it varies in speed depending on the perspective of the person, to how constant it may be. These are all topics that might be very interesting to discuss, however i am not interested, at the moment, to talk about them. What i wanted to share was the divisions of Time: The Past, the Present and the Future.
Have you ever realized how important these three categories of time are for us human beings? We focus on just one of them, and dedicate our lives to it. Sometimes our lives are dictated by whatever happens in the Past, or present or future.
he story of Kree on our crappy little ball in space could have taken a completely different turn, had it begun in a large industrial city; but it did not, he landed in a village somewhere on our planet, and now he finds himself set in motion… His mission on LBP has begun.
The village people he saw were strange, so strange in fact, that he did not understand how it could possibly be. Their shapes were too different:
On a large planet far away from here, in a far away solar system, in a far away galaxy, in the far distance of our universe (basically it is very far away from here), is a species of aliens, living in their own culture and having their own way of life. In comparison to our own species, the human one that is, they are quite advanced. I shall indulge in describing them as we go along, and will provide details about them on a need-to-know basis. What is important for you to know at the moment, is the following: Other than inter-galactical technology, this species, which are called Cellophanes, has the ability to be invisible to the human eye. A little power that shall come in handy.
What matters most for us, for myself at least, is the life of one particular cellophane, who was found guilty of normality. In Celloph (their planet of course) each individual must, at all cost, be an individual. Trying to fit in, is against the law, being like someone else, is forbidden. Being normal… well that is punishable with exile. His name is Kree, he comes from the long and prosperous line of the family Ateev. He has been accused of normality, and as a result his family has been dishonored. Since the cellophanes are quite advanced intellectually, they had a system of law much more effective than any in the universe. They offered Kree the possibility to redeem his family’s honor by going on an expedition. The verdict came from the Big Innovative Translucent Captain of Heroes (BITCH for short) and it was thus:
Ever wonder how some people are able to keep that big smile on their face for a long time? Ever wonder how some people, regardless of the pain and suffering around them, seem to keep a positive attitude? I have, and it is extremely fascinating for me to just sit and watch them for endless hours… They are quite intriguing and contagious… and i believe they are not getting their due credit! They are the ones who bring into our lives a shot of happiness when we most need it!
It seems to me lately, that we are always gloomy, always complaining, and although we have proper reason to do so, whatever bright moments we might have are just that…moments….fleeting bursts in time during which we experience life with a light heart, and a smile on our face! So yet again i find myself asking why?
Extracts from a conversation with Jad:
Live
Such a nice verb. But should you take a stand: with Epicureans against Sisyphean’s? Did you decide to live as an epicurean because it was hard to carry the burden up the slope another endless time?
…You have decided to deconstruct your present situation in order for you to analyse it, and to change eventually change it. That proves something for sure: you are a smart sensitive human being (which I know of course) who is fed up with routine and wants to move on….
…After deconstruction comes construction. None of he 2 processes will win actually, since deconstruction is by itself as mythological as construction… Thinking can be a handicap to Doing… Your consciousness will judge you over what you’ve done, and not over what you would have wished to do… I think.
…Remember, if the winds are not blowing today, that doesn’t mean that the sail ship can’t float…
Should you take a stand? You could or should, if such a stand was there to be taken. Carrying the burden endlessly seems to be our life’s promise, the price we pay to live, and it is a price that i might pay gladly. The question that we all have to ask ourselves however is this: Are we carrying a burden of our choice, a burden brought forth through passion, or simply to please society or family or by fear from consciousness’ judgement?
