when you start a phone conversation with a stranger, and they ask: “Who is this?” the answer is quite simple… “my name is (insert yours here)”… and voila! either this is enough, or it is not… in which case, you end up providing further information as per the stranger’s request.

but how do you tell people who you are in a small post? or without digressing into all sorts of insider’s details that are better left unsaid, all the while providing a proper sense of identity, so that readers on the blog get to know you?

you simply don’t.

I’m a storyteller… I use words… photos… and films to share my stories… I am quite often delusional, mostly incomprehensible, and every once in a while, realistic.

though these words collected on this blog might not draw my mind a complete portrait, they do provide a glimpse… for any further inquiries, do contact us…

P.S.: Some of you might be wondering what’s with the weird name for the blog… as in “what’s umadoshi?”
Well, it means Year of the Horse in Japanese. Yes… you guessed it, I was born during such a year, but there is one more thing to note here; I have an obsession with horses… not to the point where i might be considered a danger to society, but enough to believe myself one of them. At least in a previous life.
